POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Project Coordinator with over 8 years of experience to oversee a diverse range of educational projects, including K-12 institutions and higher education facilities. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills and a proven track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, design, and manage educational projects for K-12 and higher education sectors.
  • Effectively organize and oversee assigned projects.
  • Lead multidisciplinary design teams in the creation of new constructions and renovation projects.
  • Facilitate client meetings, present design concepts, and conduct reviews with stakeholders.
  • Establish client timelines and adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Engage in promotional activities to secure new projects.
  • Contribute to proposal evaluations and contract negotiations.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

The Senior Project Coordinator will supervise and mentor in-house personnel assigned to their projects, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Professional license to practice architecture.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience and enthusiasm for educational projects.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Proficient collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of eight years in a Project Coordinator role, specifically within the K-12 and higher education sectors.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Some travel may be necessary within the state of Michigan and neighboring regions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position primarily involves sedentary work, conducted at a desk or in meetings. Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 10 pounds may be required, alongside travel-related physical demands.
