Responsibilities

The Chiropractor is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities: Duties may vary depending on the specific role.

Work Schedule: Flexible hours may be required based on operational needs (standard hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Bargaining Unit Status: This position is included in the bargaining unit.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment
  • All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Open to U.S. Citizens, although non-citizens may be appointed if qualified citizens cannot be recruited.
  • Selected candidates for positions requiring testing must undergo urinalysis for illegal drug screening prior to appointment.
  • Selective Service Registration is mandatory for males born after December 31, 1959.

  • Probationary period may be required.
  • Background/security investigation is mandatory.
  • Completion of an online onboarding process is required for selected candidates.
  • Passing a pre-employment physical examination is necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants who are in the process of completing educational or certification/licensure requirements may be considered for selection but cannot be appointed until all qualifications are met.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Education: Doctor of Chiropractic degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice chiropractic in the U.S.
  • Physical Requirements: Must meet physical demands as outlined.
  • English Language Proficiency: Required for direct patient-care positions.
GRADE DETERMINATIONS:
  • Associate Grade: No additional requirements beyond the basic qualifications.
  • Full Grade: Two years of full-time chiropractic practice or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate Grade: Requires four years of chiropractic practice or equivalent.
  • Senior Grade: Reserved for leadership roles with additional qualifications.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting (15-44 lbs), light lifting (under 15 lbs), use of hands, walking for 2-3 hours, visual acuity, and hearing ability are necessary.
