About Care

Care is a consumer tech company with a mission to solve a human challenge we all face: finding great care for the ones we love. We're a team of entrepreneurs, self-starters, and big thinkers united behind a common cause. We're applying data analytics, AI, and the latest technologies to solve universal problems and connect people in new ways.

Position Overview:

Care's value proposition leads with trust and safety. Our platform helps people find employees they trust and can give the responsibility of a loved one. As a safety product manager, you will deliver initiatives to make that value proposition a reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and measure current trust scenarios and risk exposure, and explain how that exposure affects our user groups
  • Prioritize solutions based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • Lead key projects, partnering with T&S Operations, Customer Care, Policy, Legal, and Engineering, and other product teams across Care, to help mitigate brand risk
  • Work on a product team to build, launch, and improve new and existing features
  • Ensure the availability and integrity of product data and facilitate post-analysis learning
  • Create detailed and clear product and testing requirements powered with metrics and OKRs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business results

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of Trust and Safety experience
  • Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
  • Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
  • Experience working with Machine Learning and AI tools and partnering with Data Scientists to glean insights from data and build models that scale
  • A quantitative degree (mathematics, engineering, computer science) is preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, preferably a consumer-focused or marketplace service
  • Experience developing product and user interface requirements
  • Ability to think strategically and implement methodically. Strong team-orientation
  • Ability to originate new creative ideas that are backed by data and to communicate those ideas to the team
  • Detail-oriented, results-oriented, and well-organized with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiar with both front-end and back-end work, working with a full-stack development team to build features

About Our Culture:

Care supports diverse families and communities and seeks employees who are just as diverse. As an equal opportunity employer, we recognize the power of a diverse and inclusive workforce and encourage applications from individuals with varied experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
