Nursing Assistant Trainee

Job SummaryThe Nursing Assistant Trainee is an entry-level position that provides an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified nursing assistant. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the trainee will work with clients and their families to provide holistic care that promotes independence and client rights.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Provide personal care, including feeding, grooming, and transferring
- Assist with basic health care needs, such as vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Document client care and communicate changes in client condition to licensed nurses
- Participate in training and education programs to develop skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 16 years old, and have a strong desire to provide compassionate care to others. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience is preferred, but not required.
