We are in search of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to evaluate and manage health conditions while advocating for healthy lifestyle choices. In this position, you will foster meaningful connections with patients, their families, healthcare professionals, and office personnel while delivering exceptional direct patient care in a clinical environment. Experience profound job satisfaction as you influence the health and comfort of our diverse patient population. You will assess and treat patients across various age groups and collaborate with a physician to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient examinations and review medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (such as blood tests and X-rays)
- Identify health conditions and illnesses
- Recommend treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health status and prescribed treatments
- Educate patients and their families on diseases, prevention, and health promotion
- Oversee the overall health of patients
- Encourage healthy lifestyle practices
- Enhance professional knowledge and engage in research

Required Qualifications:
- Unrestricted NP or PA licensure in South Carolina or in the process of obtaining
- Board Certified or in the process of certification
- Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Clinical experience in a clinic, hospital, emergency room, or similar setting
- Proficient in computer skills, including documentation of medical information
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical experience
