As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical directors and physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with behavioral problems and mental health disorders.
  • Provide diagnostic care and treatment, focusing on psychiatric/mental health maintenance and wellness.
  • Use medicinal and therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve optimal mental health outcomes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for patient evaluation and care upon intake.
  • Attend Treatment Team meetings and actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license valid to practice in the state of South Carolina.
  • South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and prescriptive authority.
  • Federal DEA license/certification.
  • Minimum 500 supervised clinical hours within the PMHNP program.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language fluently.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
