Position Overview: The Access Management Coordinator is tasked with overseeing and managing user access privileges to uphold security and compliance within the organization’s IT framework. This role encompasses the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and systems from unauthorized access.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Access Control Reviews:
    • Distribute user access assessments, infrastructure access evaluations, and shared drive access reviews to management, ensuring timely completion.
  2. User Account Management
    • Facilitate requests for the creation and removal of user accounts across systems and applications.
    • Address access-related issues escalated from the Service Desk.
    • Collaborate closely with Security and HR during emergency terminations.
  3. Collaboration and Assistance:
    • Engage with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure prompt user access management.
    • Provide technical support and advice to users on access-related inquiries.
    • Assist in user training regarding access requests, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  4. Utilize Microsoft Identity Management (MIM) tools to resolve issues according to established guidelines during the onboarding process when accounts are created, modified, or deactivated.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming inquiries and requests from end users through various communication channels.
  • Assist users in troubleshooting hardware or software issues.
  • Respond to user questions, evaluate problems with IT equipment and applications, and provide solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in user access management or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of access control frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in access management tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
Essential Competencies:
  • Detail-Oriented: Ensuring precision in managing user access and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT systems, access management tools, and security protocols.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong skills in identifying and resolving access-related challenges.
  • Compliance Focused: Knowledge of and adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices in access management.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based with opportunities for remote work.
  • May involve occasional after-hours work for system maintenance or incident management.
