Position Summary:
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will provide financial, strategic, and analytical support primarily to Corporate and Value Center leaders.

This role is crucial in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic/operating plans.

The FP&A Analyst will play a significant part in evaluating ITT's performance (both operational and corporate) and will present findings through regular financial status updates to the Leadership Team.

Additionally, the individual will directly contribute to quarterly earnings analytics and support strategic planning, scenario analysis, benchmarking, and special projects.


Essential Responsibilities:

Key Functions of the Role:

  • Assist in implementing the five pillars of the FP&A vision: tracking and driving performance; facilitating efficient resource allocation; supporting effective decision-making; and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Review financial forecasts to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support the coordination and establishment of financial targets and data requirements for strategic, operational, and budget plans.
  • Assist with financial data requirements and analysis for internal reporting to the Leadership Team and Operations.
  • Collaborate across functions to support operations and other SFO functions.
  • Evaluate financial inputs to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Help develop monthly and quarterly business review requirements, consolidating outlooks and preparing financial analyses.
  • Conduct competitive and other benchmarking analyses.
  • Perform special analyses and additional tasks as required by management.

Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, planning, and problem-solving.
  • Continuous improvement-oriented, motivated, and a dedicated team player.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for modeling and communicating financial analyses to Senior Management.
  • Effective listening and communication abilities.
