Corporate Development Associate

Commvault is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a pivotal role in researching, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive company objectives and contribute to its long-term plan.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential acquisition targets, gathering data on market trends, competitive landscape, and target company performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a robust acquisition thesis, present findings, establish M&A objectives, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
Work with Finance and Product Management to build comprehensive long-term business cases for M&A or partnership opportunities, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives and financial targets.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven research, financial, project management, corporate development, or management consulting experience.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to create and deliver clear and compelling Excel-based business cases and presentations.
