Job Title: Program Manager Job Summary: Vergent Products Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our client engagement efforts. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing client accounts with complex technical requirements. Your primary goal will be to create and maintain a seamless client experience, balancing high client satisfaction and loyalty with stewardship of company resources. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a rigorous process to ensure the Vergent team is aware of client agreements, risk mitigation plans, sales orders, schedules, budgets, production and stocking requirements, supply chain considerations, and product specifications. * Establish Product Lifecycle Management plans and manage schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget completion of projects. * Assess potential obstacles by reviewing process, program, and product bottlenecks, and develop action plans to mitigate risk for each program. * Partner with clients to resolve unexpected issues efficiently and maintain client product flow. * Act as an agent of de-escalation when unforeseen issues arise, focusing on developing effective solutions. * Guide programs through the product life cycle, initiating and facilitating major program milestones, and managing approval, funding, and recovery of costs for changes. * Provide proactive and regular updates to clients on open order status, project progress, open action items, risks, warranty/service status, inventory liability, and recovery plans. * Lead and facilitate cost reduction efforts for client portfolios. * Schedule, prepare, and conduct periodic business reviews with assigned clients. * Facilitate Design for Excellence early involvement of interested parties in design processes to ensure a smooth transition into production. * Facilitate design transfer of products into volume production. * Work with other Program Managers to identify and lead improvement in client experience touch points and program management business processes. Requirements: * BS or equivalent experience in business management or technical discipline. * 3-5 years' experience in technical project management. * Strong team leadership skills with the ability to set objectives, project timelines, and execute to milestones and deliverables. * Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills externally with clients and internally with cross-functional teams. * Ability to resolve conflicts and analyze complex problems. * Business acumen to balance client needs with company needs, including an understanding of product profitability and cost drivers. * Proficiency with company ERP, PLM, MES, and analysis/reporting tools, as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong project definition and management skills with a demonstrated track record of on-time, under-budget execution. * Agile project management experience preferred. Compensation: Yearly salary: $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
