  • Collaborate effectively across Bristol Myers Squibb's many research locations and work closely with our partner in India to produce a variety of cell-based reagents supporting experimental activities in the United States.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience and command of the principles of mammalian cell culture and proven managerial success in enacting these principles in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with automated cell culturing systems, such as the SelecT/CompacT, would be considered a plus.
  • Command of various primary cell isolation/differentiation and purification methodologies.
  • Significant experience in the maintenance, expansion, and differentiation of iPSCs to support genetic model development and phenotypic screens.
  • Extensive experience with the MaxCyte system to produce HTS quantities of transiently transfected cells.
  • Experience with lentiviral transduction and production of engineered human T cells.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage projects across functional lines and geographic locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting data and ideas to multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Ability to teach and train new entry-level scientists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related field, with 4+ years' experience, and demonstrated expertise in the management of complex cell culture operations.
  • Experience in supporting the development of complex biological disease-related cellular models by providing differentiated iPSCs.
  • Experience applying laboratory automation to mammalian cell culture.
  • Knowledge of how CRISPR-engineered cell lines are developed.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
  • Strong desire to succeed in cross-functional teams and collaborate in a highly matrixed environment.
