Responsibilities

In the role of Tower Foreman, you will lead daily construction activities to ensure that production targets set by management are met. You are committed to excellence and take pride in completing tasks correctly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing MasTec Communications Group (MNS) Health Safety and Environmental Policies.
  • Adhering to industry standards such as OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols at your work sites.
  • Overseeing daily operations and the quality of work performed.
  • Maintaining accurate daily documentation for the site and crew.
  • Executing job instructions as directed by management.
  • Compiling and submitting site-specific closeout documentation.
  • Coordinating with customer representatives regarding site activities.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to crew members.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Validating daily timesheets for management review.
  • Serving as a mentor to less experienced technicians.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

About You:

  • Safety is integral to your daily routine.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • You excel at solving complex problems and enjoy hands-on tasks.
  • You seek long-term project opportunities.
  • You are willing to engage actively with your team.
  • You possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in construction techniques, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
  • You are familiar with safety regulations and standards.
  • WSA certification is advantageous.
  • You hold relevant job-related certifications such as First Aid, Safety, Rescue, and others.
  • You possess strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.
  • You can read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
  • You have a valid driver's license and meet company driving record standards.
  • You can maintain FDOT log books (training will be provided).
  • You have the ability to lead and instruct on proper work and safety practices.
  • You ensure a safe work environment with acceptable quality and efficiency.
  • You are capable of managing paperwork using tools like Excel and Word.
  • You are physically fit and in good health.
  • You can climb towers, lift 50 lbs., and work extended hours.
