As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for a variety of building types, including higher education, corporate/commercial, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical systems for buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from design to construction, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clients, partners, and colleagues to achieve project objectives, communicate project status, and resolve issues.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to ensure high-quality technical output.
  • Talent Development and Hiring: Contribute to the development of junior team members, assist in recruiting and hiring new team members, and participate in onboarding processes.
  • Business Development: Analyze project scope, assist in authoring proposals and contracts, and nurture relationships with existing clients and partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architectural/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of mechanical engineering experience, with a proven track record of complete mechanical system design for buildings.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, specialized mechanical engineering software, and Revit experience preferred.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an office setting and the field, with occasional travel to other offices. The physical presence in the office is required for a minimum of 4 days/week.
