Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic testing procedures, interpret results, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications safely and effectively, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current license for Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Health Care Provider Life Support certification.
  • ACLS certification for critical care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Membership in national professional organizations (AARC, NBRC).
  • One year of acute or critical care experience.
