Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using FARO measurement systems and other precision tools.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection criteria.
  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections to verify product specifications and quality.
  • Document inspection results, including any non-conformities, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for quality enhancements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality inspection is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector with hands-on experience using FARO measurement systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to report findings clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with various inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform detailed inspection tasks.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderate weights as needed.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including production areas.
