Job SummaryThe Clinical Technician provides direct patient care under the direction of a nurse and performs other tasks necessary for unit operations.
Key Responsibilities- Delivers patient care services, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
- Assists with patient transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
- Collects and processes patient specimens, including urine, blood, and stool samples.
- Provides basic life support, including CPR and first aid.
- Assists with patient education and discharge planning.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
