Job Summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Division Support Administrator to join our shipping office team. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide administrative support for various essential functions, including Human Resources, production scheduling, inventory management, inside sales, and basic accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the shipping office, including answering phones, maintaining records, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including reporting weekly hours and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communicate and distribute Human Resources information to location employees.
  • Assist with safety activities, including accident investigations and report completion.
  • Support sales and estimating staff in preparing sales bids and project quotations.
  • Coordinate shop production schedules with the Shop Supervisor and detailers to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Arrange trucking with approved freight companies and schedule deliveries.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Physical demands include walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting/handling computers and related equipment.
  • Background and drug test required at hire.
