Senior Search Marketing Manager
In the role of Senior Search Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the strategic direction and oversee the planning, optimization, and performance reporting of SEM campaigns for Digitas clients. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating SEM with various other capabilities.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for daily client interactions
- Defining and communicating the agency's perspective on customer segmentation and media strategy execution
- Managing the strategic elements of integrated SEM campaigns alongside other digital and traditional media
- Overseeing the development of strategic program analyses and recommendations for clients
- Accountable for the testing schedule, learning agenda, and performance forecasts
- Extracting insights from program outcomes and keeping clients and internal teams informed of strategic implications
- Identifying client challenges and new opportunities within existing accounts
- Addressing client inquiries and concerns related to media, serving as the day-to-day liaison
- Managing assigned accounts with minimal oversight, including media planning, negotiations, performance tracking, and analysis
- Collaborating closely with account, creative, and measurement teams to ensure alignment with client needs and quality standards
- Leading and mentoring junior staff, providing ongoing feedback and career development
- Encouraging teamwork, delegating tasks, and implementing an effective task management system
- Offering innovative solutions to client challenges; demonstrating resourcefulness in troubleshooting
- Building strong relationships with internal and external teams while managing multiple client stakeholders
- Understanding broader implications and how insights can be leveraged across programs and channels
- Engaging in active knowledge sharing within the agency
We seek candidates with:
- A four-year degree and 7 to 9 years of experience in digital media, with at least 6 years focused on SEM
- In-depth knowledge of the digital landscape and a solid grasp of the media planning and buying process
- Proficiency in media research tools, understanding their strengths and optimal usage
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- Excellent quantitative and research skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and convey insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with Tag Management Solutions, DMP, MTA, and Site Analytics tools
- Ability to comprehend client objectives and translate them into effective search and media strategies
- Exceptional client engagement skills and the ability to lead discussions with stakeholders
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel as necessary
