About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance and repair programs across our branch facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilities Maintenance Coordination: Assist the Operations Manager and the Maintenance department in coordinating, scheduling, and documenting maintenance projects and assignments.
  2. Communication and Documentation: Serve as a central dispatch and communication hub for the maintenance team and 3rd party contractors, ensuring timely and effective communication and documentation of maintenance activities.
  3. Project Management: Assist in the management of maintenance projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  4. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance projects.
  5. Quality Control: Verify work completion and project close-outs to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
  6. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Maintenance department, including document management, data entry, and reporting.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: One to three (1-3) years' work experience in a dispatch, service center, call center, administrative assistant, project coordinator, or similar role.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  3. Physical Demands: Ability to work in an office environment, sit for extended periods, and attend walk-throughs and field meetings at various facilities.
