Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN - Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our vascular lab operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business and clinical operations for multiple physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of the office-based vascular lab, including interviewing, hiring, and supervising staff.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and monitor budget activities for the office-based vascular lab.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of staff performance and conduct regular staff meetings.
  • Oversee the orientation and training of new employees as outlined in their job descriptions.
  • Plan, develop, and implement standards to ensure quality of care in the office-based vascular lab.
  • Manage accounts receivables and reporting, as well as oversee coding and billing processes.
  • Coordinate staff and doctors work schedules and develop policies/procedures as appropriate.
  • Responsible to keep up to date with insurance requirements and address all practice physician needs and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with outside practice managers and manage scheduling of vascular procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure optimal use of resources and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities and ensure that all vascular procedures meet established quality standards and protocols.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements, including maintaining proper documentation.
  • Implement and oversee infection control practices and safety measures and address patient concerns.
  • Ensure that all vascular diagnostic equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and updated.
  • Stay current with advancements in vascular technology and recommend upgrades or new equipment as needed.
  • Prepare for and participate in accreditation surveys and inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or BSN
  • New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • BLS/ACLS training required and accepted from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum with 2-3 years of experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge or Abilities
  • Independent individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, outside agencies and other hospital staff.
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Strong computer skills a must
  • Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record, radiology scheduling and insurance authorization

Catholic Health offers a competitive salary range of USD $60.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr. and a generous benefits package, including a defined benefit pension plan and tuition assistance.
