We are seeking a highly skilled Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our team at David's Bridal. As an Alterations Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality alterations services.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires minimal weekday hours, with opportunities to work on weekends. You will be responsible for welcoming and servicing customers, making appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and ensuring that items are ready for pickups. Your primary goal will be to provide an A+ customer experience to David's Bridal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, communicating clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers by problem-solving, excellent phone skills, and resolving conflict.
  2. Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
  3. Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, includes all operational checklist tasks and meeting customers' emotional and practical needs.
  4. Responsible for providing an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contributes to the store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service. Proactively address customer concerns with confidence. Know when to escalate and partner with leadership team.
  5. Effectively communicate how alterations can play an important role in perfecting the dress for her event in partnership with Alterations.
  6. Promote all alterations services and personalization options.
  7. Maintain store-standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness, store recovery) to support a flawless shopping experience.
  8. Maintain high dress code standards as required by the Dress Code policy.
  9. Greet and escort all alterations customers to and from alterations for appointments.
  10. Press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise.
  11. Follows quality control guidelines and inspects all garments altered/steamed/pressed to verify pristine condition before final delivery to customer.
  12. Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  13. Support inventory management by processing special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for all merchandise.
  14. Supports all cash wrap behaviors and processes transactions with accuracy to make sure every customer feels celebrated.
  15. Seeks assistance from the Alterations Manager to address customer issues that s/he is not able to resolve.
  16. Maintains a clean and well-organized alterations room.
  17. Performs duties and tasks as assigned by store management.
