Claims Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Coordinator to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and obtain essential information and documentation for case disposition.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and establish extended payment arrangements.
  • Prepare and distribute related correspondence and monitor case status.
  • Assist in preparing invoices for goods or services rendered.
  • Verify billing information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
  • Generate billing reports and statements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
  • Assist with data entry and processing billing transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and process payments.
  • Perform other billing-related tasks as needed.
Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in medical billing/claims.
  • Claims, billing, and correction experience.
  • Knowledge of claims and subrogation processes and systems.
  • Proficient in computerized information systems and paralegal software.
