Position Overview
As a key member of the management team, the Guest Service Manager is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of the Front Office. This includes, but is not limited to, managing personnel, budget adherence, and financial oversight.

Essential Qualifications
Our associates have access to guest accommodations and property, making integrity and reliability vital for this role. Candidates must successfully complete the required security clearance in accordance with company policy.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience managing at least three team members.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the service sector.
Core Responsibilities
Successful candidates must be capable of performing essential physical activities: standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating effectively.

Specific requirements for this role include:
  • Ability to push or pull up to 60 pounds and lift or carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
  • Proficiency in seeing and hearing.
  • Competence in speaking and reading English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
  • Consistent display of professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness.

Skills:
  • Ability to train and develop team members through meetings and documentation.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to associates, both positive and constructive.
  • Proficient in using property management systems.
  • Maintain organization of supplies and manage orders as needed.
Abilities:
  • Effectively multitask while remaining focused on guest and associate service.
  • Communicate efficiently with guests, department heads, associates, and home office support.
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and maintain a hospitable demeanor.
  • Market and promote services to enhance visibility and sales.
  • Stay organized and proactive in a dynamic environment.
Specific Duties
  • Foster a professional and cohesive team through hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and developing qualified individuals.
  • Encourage positive morale and friendly interactions.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly, including scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and production controls.
  • Operate within budgetary constraints to maximize revenue and adhere to labor models.
  • Uphold safety and security protocols, possessing thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.

Working Conditions
Position requires standing and walking for extended periods while maintaining a friendly and professional appearance. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with availability required 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
