Key Responsibilities:

As a CockroachDB Database Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and upkeep of our database systems utilizing CockroachDB. Your collaboration with various teams will be essential to guarantee the performance, scalability, and dependability of our database infrastructure, which supports critical applications and services.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Database Development.
  • Proficient in CockroachDB development.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture and databases.
  • Strong background in working within a cloud environment (preferably Azure).
  • Experience with Kafka connectors; familiarity with the telecom domain is a significant advantage.
  • Competent in Agile execution processes.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working in a global delivery environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Agile and Scrum methodology throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a diverse and multi-stakeholder environment.
  • The role requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is necessary. Travel may be required based on job needs.
