Homeless Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Shelter Intervention Specialist to support our program participants and ensure that all activities, policies, and procedures meet our agency's values and mission.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 1-3 years of experience working with people who have been homeless and/or have mental health needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing interventions to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective crisis de-escalation and communication
- Managing schedules and prioritizing tasks to meet program goals
- Leading by example and promoting a positive company culture
ShelterCare offers a competitive starting wage of $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications, and a range of benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and a wellness stipend.
