Job DescriptionThis Charge Nurse role assists the Director in achieving organizational goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work as a supportive Charge nurse, quality management coordinator, and resource for the unit, providing back up support administratively when needed.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients during a given period of duty.
- Assume full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care.
- Participate in patient/resident and family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other resident/patient team members.
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
