Nurse Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse at the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor patients on Telemetry (Med-Tele)
- Handle various medical diagnoses excluding primary cardiac cases
- Manage common diagnoses such as stroke, COPD, respiratory issues, flu, pneumonia, GI bleed, renal failure (AKI/CKD), electrolyte imbalance, altered mental status, weakness, and non-operable fractures
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred; CNA requires 1 year of experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS (preferred), EKG interpretation/ACLS (preferred)
- Previous charge experience highly preferred
- Comfortable reading/interpreting rhythm strips
- Competitive salary: $3144 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
- Scheduling: Weekend rotation every other week, no on-call required, no holiday RTO accepted at this time
