About the Role

OIC of America is seeking a seasoned Chief Development Officer to lead its development operation and secure contributed revenue to support the organization's programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector and a proven track record of securing funds from government agencies, corporations, foundations, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to ensure a steady pipeline of contributed revenue
  • Build and lead a development team to support best-in-class donor prospecting and research, grant writing, and grant compliance
  • Secure funds from various sources, including government agencies, corporations, foundations, and individuals
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least seven years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector
  • Proven track record of securing significant funding from various sources
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing development team
What We Offer
