Position Overview

This role is intended for a Mid-Level Functional Analyst who meets the outlined qualifications, specifically with expertise in Transportation Management (TM).

Simplot is embarking on a transformative journey aimed at delivering value to our customers both now and in the future. This initiative is grounded in a "green field" strategy for implementing SAP S4/HANA as the central enabler for this transformation. The SAP Practice at Simplot is tasked with developing solutions within the new S4/HANA framework to address our company’s evolving global requirements. Each team member will play a crucial role in crafting solutions by leveraging the extensive suite of SAP products to fulfill our business goals. We are actively seeking innovative and motivated Mid-Level Functional Analysts to enhance our existing team and contribute to our future business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow functional analysts to address business needs with SAP solutions utilizing the SAP Product Suite already acquired by Simplot.
  • Enhance your expertise by supporting a Senior Functional Analyst in team dynamics and managing epics, features, and user stories.
  • Represent your process area during design and development sessions.
  • Guide and engage in configuration within your process area.
  • Participate and contribute to daily stand-up meetings with a small agile development team.
  • Design, configure, and test developed solutions.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.

Relevant Experience

  • Strong troubleshooting and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or IT Business Analyst related to manufacturing and logistics processes and associated SAP capabilities is required.
  • A solid understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices for development is necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori elements and the ability to promote standardization and re-utilization of elements to develop a common UX repository is preferred.
  • Experience with S/4HANA (versions 1809, 1909, 2020) is preferred.
  • Comprehension of various integration patterns between SAP and non-SAP products and their application in enabling business processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the development lifecycle and the use of SAP Solution Manager in a Dev/Ops environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is preferred.
