We are currently looking for an Intermediate Water/Wastewater Engineer to assist in executing municipal water and wastewater projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering tasks on projects of varying sizes.
- Execute engineering work in the process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including engineering services and construction management.
- Manage budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Develop engineering designs, prepare reports, create plans, draft specifications, and generate cost estimates for various water projects.

- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; conduct data entry and analysis, and oversee the construction phase of projects.

- Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others involved in specific assignments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 6-12 years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
- Experience should include water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- Application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.

- Proven experience in the design and construction phases of small, medium, and large-scale water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and manage project teams.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Capacity to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Experience in design and construction phases.
