We are seeking a highly skilled Physician-Pediatrics Specialist to join our team at Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provides comprehensive medical care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and occasional adult patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Collaboration and Referral: Works closely with specialists to refer complex cases and ensures seamless patient care transitions.
- Patient Education: Instructs patients and their families on treatment options, preventive care, and disease management, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintains accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating billing processes.
- Professional Development: Participates in ongoing continuing medical education to maintain certification and stay current with best practices in pediatric care.
