Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Therapeutic Measures: Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Provide patients and their families with clear, concise information about their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Quality Assurance and Policy Development: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
- Urgent Care and Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing critical care and stabilization as needed.
- Cross-Training and Flexibility: Be willing to rotate through various nursing departments, cross-training in different services to support the needs of the hospital and our patients.
- Shift Work and Flexibility: Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing hospital needs.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient progress, communicating effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will need a nursing degree and recent critical care experience, along with current BLS certification. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
