Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including routine and complex treatments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Supervise and mentor dental team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted dental license in the State of North Carolina or eligibility for licensure in the state.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients and knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-doctoral residency training in pediatric dentistry.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and dental software.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including Cherokee.
