Job Summary:

The Human Resources Director will serve as a strategic leadership member, overseeing all phases of the Human Resources department. This role will be responsible for recruiting, employee relations, training, employee data maintenance, benefits, and termination procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to facility management and employees, ensuring consistent employment practices.
  • Conduct recruitment activities, including advertising, internal job posting, application screening, and coordination of interviewing.
  • Maintain personnel files, including training records and new hire paperwork.
  • Offer expert guidance on HR policies and procedures, leveraging a broad knowledge of HR functional areas.
  • Collaborate with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues through coaching and training.
  • Verify licenses and certifications, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Address complex and sensitive HR issues with organizational impact or legal ramifications.
  • Advise managers on performance management, workforce planning, and compensation.
  • Enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS system.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or Business is required. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a proven track record of knowledge in recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and HR information systems. Experience with licensing through state, JC, and CMS surveys is also preferred. A working knowledge of HR guidelines is essential.
