Job Summary

UDG Services is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in West Michigan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch appliance repair and maintenance services to our customers.

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual with a background in appliance repair or similar technical skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site appliance repair and maintenance services to customers within our service area.
  • Troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and resolve customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain detailed reports of service calls, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Offer recommendations for equipment upgrades when necessary.
  • Ensure service vans and tools are well-maintained and inventory is managed efficiently.
Requirements
  • Military veteran with honorable discharge (preferred)
  • Proven experience in appliance repair, HVAC, or similar fields
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license
  • Resides within the service area of Shelby to Holland, MI
