Machine Repair Specialist

As a Machine Repair Specialist at MillerKnoll, you will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on complex plant machinery and manufacturing equipment. This includes inspection, repair, and revision of equipment to ensure process repeatability, uptime, and reduced change over and set up times.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's card in the mechanical repair field and a valid driver's license. You should also be able to obtain a Herman Miller, Inc. forklift, aerial platform or other equipment operator's license. Additionally, you must be able to perform all essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. You must also be able to communicate effectively with management, engineering, and vendors regarding new machinery and equipment selection, specifications, set up and operator training. The physical demands of this position include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials.
