Job Summary

The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for conducting individual and group therapy sessions, assessing patient progress, and developing personalized treatment plans. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide support to patients
  • Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • CAC-AD and CSC-AD certification from The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
