Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

At Transformation Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve a sober lifestyle.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to provide assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation to our clients. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their substance abuse issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote healthy relationships and recovery from addiction.
  • Provide individual sessions to clients to address their specific needs and concerns.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed client records.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling or a related field.
  • Experience working with substance abuse disorders and mental health issues.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
