Job Title: Tax Payroll Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Payroll Business Analyst to join our team at Collabera. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring company policies remain compliant, and collaborating with developers to implement the necessary changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze tax-related documents detailing changes in tax laws and assess the impact on current payroll policies.
  • Collaborate with developers to modify existing policies and ensure compliance with new tax regulations.
  • Lead efforts to identify necessary policy changes based on tax law updates.
  • Assist in the development of new payroll policies, utilizing both business analysis and some development experience.
  • Work with proprietary tools to support the development and implementation of payroll policy changes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of changes and their impacts to stakeholders.
  • Manage and track project progress using Jira.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on payroll and tax-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations, with experience analyzing changes in tax laws.
  • Experience working with Jira for project management and tracking.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with developers to implement policy changes.
  • Some development experience to support the creation of new payroll policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Prior experience in a payroll or financial services company.
