Wastewater Collection Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Collection Project Engineer to join our team in Andover, MA. As a key member of our Water team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality drinking water engineering services to municipal clients across the firm's geographies and core markets.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating work and junior engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Developing and monitoring schedule and budget components of larger projects.
- Demonstrating strong and proactive communication skills to keep the Project Manager updated on all issues and work progress.
- Leading design or portions of the design, working with discipline teams, and coordinating with sub-contractors.
- Experience in Construction Administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and contractor payment applications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software and providing guidance to designers/drafters on design drawing production.
- Making decisions independently or with oversight of engineering problems and methods.
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting the needs of each project in a professional, reliable, and organized manner.
- Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision.
- Ability to connect and work with external suppliers and subcontractors to quote and furnish materials and services.
- Interacting with clients and representing the firm in a professional manner.
- Spending time in the field or on construction projects, as applicable to the project.
- Coordinating with contractors and clients in the field during construction to ensure projects are executed in compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Interfacing with local and state Department of Environmental Protection to ensure projects meet code and permit requirements.
- 4-8 years of engineering experience.
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer is a plus, or the ability to obtain a Massachusetts P.E. license within one year of employment.
- $105,000 - $125,000 a year.
