We are currently seeking a Mail Clerk to manage our Official Mail Center (OMC) operations. As an AbilityOne provider, we are committed to promoting employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and distribute all official mail and inter-base communications for the OMC.
  • Weigh and classify outgoing official mail, ensuring correct postage is applied.
  • Prepare command pouches for submission to the USPS mail system.
  • Process and dispatch accountable mail containers and USPS Express Mail.
  • Comply with all standards, policies, and procedures established by the Board of Directors and the President and CEO.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have a severe disability to qualify under the AbilityOne program.
  • Basic math and reading proficiency.
  • Reliable with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a mailroom setting.
  • Military experience with prior security clearance.
