Job Description

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Storeroom Supervisor - Inventory Management to oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, performing regular stock checks, and implementing proper inventory management procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process daily material requisitions for the manufacturing facility, including raw materials, machinery, and equipment.
  • Develop and optimize vendor relationships to support company goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
  • Involved in company contract negotiation and contract management.
  • Research and analyze market trends to assess present and future material availability.
  • Purchase materials and services from suppliers providing best value.
  • Balance mill needs with economically justified stores inventory.
  • Supervise and lead a team of spare parts room staff.

**Requirements:**

  • 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, accounting, business, or related field.
  • CPSM or C.P.M certification preferred.
