This position involves executing routine tasks to uphold the reporting frameworks while offering direct assistance and guidance to Stifel advisors as they utilize the services provided. Additionally, the Coordinator will contribute to the design and execution of improvements to the reporting systems and the array of services accessible through the IP&S Platform. A solid understanding of Stifel's IP&S offerings, operational workflows, compliance regulations, and relevant technology integrations is essential for delivering a comprehensive support experience to Stifel advisors and fostering ongoing advancements to the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily management of the reporting systems available through Stifel's Investment Products and Services Group.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and operational partners in onboarding and ongoing management of specialized reporting services for high-net-worth clients.
  • Document necessary procedures for sustained system support, engage in requirements gathering for system updates, and assist in user integration and acceptance testing.
  • Under the mentorship of senior colleagues, create and maintain marketing materials targeted at Stifel Advisors, recruits, and clients who may benefit from the reporting systems and associated services offered through the IP&S platform.
  • Leverage firm resources and investment knowledge to manage supplementary data related to reporting across various Stifel systems, including security asset classifications and relevant market index comparisons.

Qualifications

  • General knowledge and understanding of the wealth management sector, particularly regarding investment products (securities, stocks, bonds, funds, separately managed accounts, options, annuities, etc.), strategies (active vs. passive), account types (advisory vs. brokerage), and the overall regulatory landscape.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey industry knowledge during inter-departmental and external discussions.
  • A strong inclination for analytical problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a solutions-oriented approach to address challenges and opportunities.
  • Self-motivation and initiative in task execution, with the capability to identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the financial services sector is necessary.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
