- Set Up Workstation: Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare Ingredients: Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
- Operate Equipment: Safely utilize a variety of utensils, including knives, and operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other kitchen appliances.
- Cooking Methods: Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
- Food Presentation: Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
- Food Storage: Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
- Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to Policies: Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
- Asset Security: Ensure the security of company assets.
- This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
- This role may also require uniforms and/or the usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
