Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals LLC. This key role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with physicians, recruiting physicians to our hospitals, and supporting the CEO and Marketing Team in establishing relationships with local hospitals and key departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth and development objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and key departments to promote our services and products.
  • Recruit and retain physicians to our hospitals, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services and products.
  • Manage and direct departmental staff in all activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct interviews and hire the best candidates to coordinate departmental activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Director of Business Development to target appropriate physicians and organize efforts to collaborate with local hospitals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and other potential market leaders.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with local hospital management and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with departments responsible for developing financial pro-formas, marketing in local hospitals, and developing relationships with local healthcare stakeholders to assist with program development and physician recruitment/retention.
  • Maintain and update presentations, proposal content, and contracts consistent with the company's development and operational initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and revision of collateral materials.
  • Coordinate efforts with support center staff, including legal counsel, when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health science field or Master's in Healthcare or Business preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare management, business development, and post-acute care; experience with physician practice management is helpful.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain licenses throughout employment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to represent the company in a confident, persuasive, and positive manner.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational, clinical, and referral development systems.
  • Proven track record in project identification, contract negotiations, and sales in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex matrix organization.
