Position Summary:
The Radiologic Imaging Technician plays a crucial role in executing a range of specialized technical functions within the field of Diagnostic Radiography.

This position involves the use of X-ray technology to aid healthcare professionals in identifying anatomical irregularities while adhering to the established policies and procedures of Conway Regional Health System.

Through effective documentation and verbal communication, vital information is conveyed to healthcare team members.

The technician will be tasked with confirming orders, processing charges, maintaining a working knowledge of the PACS system, and ensuring the safe transport of patients with all requisite documentation completed.


SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This role is classified as a "Safety Sensitive Position" in accordance with state regulations.

Employees under the influence of substances such as Marijuana pose a risk to patients and clients, which Conway Regional is committed to mitigating in the provision of healthcare services.


Required Qualifications:


Possession of an Arkansas Department of Health License in Radiography, or proof of current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Completion of the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification prior to the end of the orientation period.

Prior experience with computer systems is essential.

Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and Arkansas Department of Health regulations is preferred.

Completion of aggression management training is required before the conclusion of the orientation process.
