Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that aid Radiologists in diagnosing and ruling out conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain medical histories from patients through observation or oral communication, utilizing clinical assessment and history to inform patient care and document patient assessment and clinical history.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and others to complete hospital/physician plans of patient care.
  • Provide patient care during radiologic procedures and assist Radiologists within technologist scope of practice.
Participate in Student Clinical Competency Evaluation:
  • Evaluate student clinical competency by observing student performance and documenting competence.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology, Military Program, or ultrasound program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Registered in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • License in the State of Arkansas.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general radiology.
