Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with audit managers and team members to implement the annual audit strategy based on the corporate risk assessment.
  2. Act as the lead project manager for multiple audit engagements, responsible for defining the audit scope, ensuring quality deliverables, and supervising team members while coordinating with management.
  3. Prepare audit documentation, including analyses and engagement reports, and evaluate processes and controls.
  4. Draft initial audit reports for review by the internal audit manager before submission to senior leadership.
  5. Develop actionable recommendations for enhancing internal controls and financial processes while aligning with business needs.
  6. Engage in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in auditing, operations, and information systems.
  7. Stay informed about organizational changes that may affect the internal control landscape by collaborating with colleagues and senior staff.
  8. Analyze complex scenarios requiring the interpretation of conflicting information.
  9. Effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks independently.
  10. Utilize analytical skills to interpret audit reports and financial statements.
  11. Possess a foundational understanding of data analytics to identify opportunities for its application throughout the audit process.
  12. Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  13. Be open to periodic travel, approximately 10-20% of the time, primarily for domestic engagements.

Development Opportunities:
Potential for rotation into Corporate Finance or Regional Business roles based on performance within 2 to 3 years. Opportunities for advancement within the department and continued training in Effective Communication, Feedback, and Data Analytics.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related fields. CPA, CIA, or MS/MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or auditing, with a preference for candidates with a mix of public accounting and internal auditing experience. Familiarity with audit analytics and technology-driven auditing methods is advantageous.

Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a proactive learning attitude, and demonstrated performance excellence. Proficiency in Excel and Word, with experience in audit analytics being a plus.
