Job Description

Phat Panda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cannabis Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the joint department's performance and production of high-quality pre-rolls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with supervisors to delegate daily and weekly tasks to joint department crew members.
  • Track attendance, breaks, and production rates to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Coach and train crew members to improve performance and productivity.
  • Regularly check emails, basecamps, and portal to stay on top of announcements, order changes, and updates.
  • Evaluate sales menu templates and projections to build backstock for future orders.
  • Attend lead meetings to discuss production goals and strategies.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining good working order of all machinery or equipment.
  • Send daily end-of-shift reports via basecamp and work together with other leads to pass down instructions and guidance to the next shift.
  • Communicate personnel notes and partner with supervisors to recommend performance/disciplinary action, schedule changes, and/or position changes.
  • Supports and adheres to company Standards of Conduct & Discipline.
  • Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace and holds crew members accountable for their cleanliness.
  • Assists other departments as necessary or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Six (6) months of processing and trim/joint experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
Workplace Environmental Conditions:
  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Injury Exposure: occasionally exposed to workplace hazards or to potential injuries.
  • Atmospheric Exposures: exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee.
  • Toxic Chemicals: may be exposed to some toxic or caustic chemicals.
