Job Title: Cannabis Dishwasher

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Dishwasher to join our team at Grow Op Farms. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our dishes and cookware, as well as supporting the production of edibles.

Job Summary:

This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are a team player with a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepares the kitchen for tasks outlined on the whiteboard.
  2. Checks stovetops, tables, depositors, and sinks for cleanliness.
  3. Wears necessary cleaning attire (slip-proof shoes, apron, gloves).
  4. Understands the importance of using the correct cleaners for each piece of equipment or surface.
  5. Cleans dishes and ensures a clean and organized work area.
  6. Measures sugars and flavors for edible production.
  7. Consistently cycles out kettles and molds to maintain production flow.
  8. Receives work assignments directly or indirectly, primarily through verbal communication from supervisors and management.
  9. Keeps inventory of necessary cleaning supplies (soap, sanitizer, scrubbing pads) and reports needed items to a lead or supervisor.
  10. Performs all other duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
Education/Experience:
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Convection kitchen experience is helpful but not necessary.
  • Current Washington Food Handlers card.
Physical Abilities:
  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods, performing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 30 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses, and differentiate between colors (no color blindness).
Workplace Environmental Conditions:
  • Noise Conditions: exposed to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Injury Exposure: occasionally exposed to workplace hazards or potential injuries.
  • Atmospheric Exposures: exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect occupational health.
  • Toxic Chemicals: may be exposed to some toxic or caustic chemicals.
